About the Artist

I am a Film and Photographic Arts student at St. Edward's University with a minor in digital marketing. I have experience in photography, photo editing, social media management, and content creation. My professional work includes events, camp and outdoors, and studio portraits. My personal work includes urban and natural landscape photography as well as portraits. I have experience with film and darkroom processing and even large format photography. I have won multiple scholastic art and writing awards, including a gold and silver key for two portraits, and three honorable mentions.

One of my favorite subject matters in digital photography is urban architecture. I love showcasing the mystique of city life as someone who goes to school in downtown Austin.

My fashion and staged paparazzi photos are my favorite sessions. The photoshoots are interactive and fun, and with that so are the photos. This is a way for me to work together with my subjects and as someone who gets very outgoing once I have a camera, I believe that aspect of teamwork is very important in portrait taking.

My large format and alternative process photos are portraits. I believe the large amount of detail in these processes is perfect for people as a way to capture the elements of their lives by only looking at their faces.

Over the years my medium has not only given me ambition and creativity, but it has also given me patience. Throughout many different subjects and processes, this single virtue has become very important to me and is how I have completed successful projects.
